Mr. Montmorency’s interest in finding answers to difficult questions and helping people resolve difficult situations took shape early and led to his desire to practice law. He finds great satisfaction in understanding and analyzing people and their issues, identifying sound options, and assisting in turning contention into resolution.
Energized by being presented with different situations and challenges every day, Mr. Montmorency looks at each project as an opportunity to influence a positive outcome. He thrives on strategizing a next move or crafting a document that provides the backdrop to solutions that are in his clients’ best interest.
A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan and ever the Michigan State fan, Mr. Montmorency now calls Chicago home, where he finds time to support the Spartans and stay physically active year round.
Education
Mr. Montmorency earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Policy and Political Economics from the James Madison College at Michigan State University and his Juris Doctorate from the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. While at DePaul, Mr. Montmorency enhanced his credentials with multiple certifications from Westlaw, a research resource to attorneys.
Professional and Civic Affiliations
Mr. Montmorency is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, the Commercial Law League of America, and the Chicago Bar Association, where he is a member of the Asset
Protection Committee.
In addition, Mr. Montmorency continues to be active with the Autism Legislation Project, a cause dedicated to bettering the lives of those afflicted with autism and their families through research and education. |
